The inaugural event for Quarry UP presentation was a real success. We welcomed lots of curious and enterprising young people in Studio Volpi and Quarry UP headquarters in a buzzing and festive atmosphere: we told them how this project was first ideated and what we would like it to become in the future, starting from this year with its focus on digital applied to industry. We were extremely happy of breathing such energy and passion, although we were not surprised at all by such spirit: we do know well that there is plenty of creatives who are just waiting for an opportunity and some help to concretize and present their own projects. It's them we are addressing to. Those who paid us a visit had the chance of observing a young, concrete and dynamic reality, where multiple professional figures mingle and work side by side, in an open and modern environment our CEO Gianmario Volpi designed himself, to let creativity and ideas space freely from desk to desk, till their concretization. Not to mention innovation and new technologies: 3D printers and virtual reality are going to be at Quarry UP participants' complete disposal, as well as the support of designers, engineers, branding and marketing experts. Indeed, it is not co-working we are talking about: Quarry UP is an incubator, even better a campus where anyone with an idea concerning the digital world will find all the competences and support to turn it into a finished product, ready to be sold on the market. We also enjoyed some playing with virtual reality, had a toast and ate a very good slice of Panettone together, since holidays were right around the corner. Now that they are finished however, 2017 found us ready and impatient to start with the first projects. We interviewed two guests who came visiting us to get to know Quarry Up better.
